Getting Started Concession stands and restrooms were added to the ticket booth on the football field. In , the Wiley Hollingsworth gymnasium was constructed. A softball/baseball field was added in 1984.

Celebrating 75 Years of Football Athletics has been a major part of the school at Hubbertville for many years. Mr. Wiley Hollingsworth was responsible for establishing the first athletic department in 1935 with L.E. Hutchenson serving as the first coach. Football was played in a pasture near the school until a football stadium was built. The stadium was started in 1948 and lighted in

Athletic Programs The athletic program at Hubbertville High school proved to be successful early on winning a State Basketball title in 1948 and having outstanding football seasons in the 50’s under the direction of coach Bobby Lott. Athletics continued into the 60’s and into the Harris era.

Conclusion The pride and commitment of our community leaders has been passed through generations. The Hubbertville School Community have supported our school and they should feel proud of the great programs the students of Hubbertville have today.
