Project Theory: Emotions and Decisions Assumptions: o Emotions alter decisions o Emotions increase or decrease the probability of a successful outcome Question\Statement Under Test: o Utilizing existing emotion detecting in voice can positively alter a decision or probability of a successful outcome in project management Difference from Prior Work in Industry: o Introducing the methodology to project management

Approach: Evaluation Method Have test groups make project decisions with and without the Voice Emotion Analyzer Use data to calculate probabilities to prove Voice Emotion Analyzers used in project management facilitate positive outcomes Computerized Emotion Detection o Focus on one emotion (Happy)  document if correctly detected  document decision process based on detected emotion information given to test subjects  document if project milestone was meant

Approach: Example Test Scenario Structure Test Environment Example o Test Subject with each watch x number of movie clips in isolation o Test Subjects will record their emotion for each movie clip o All Test Subjects will partake in a group discussion to select a clip on a particular that invoked emotion of interest for each member based a series of questions provided  Subjects facial Expressions and body expressions will be hidden to focus on the voice emotion interpretation exercise
