Welcome to Fitness and Wellness

WHAT IS WELLNESS?? The state or condition of being in good physical and mental health.

THINGS YOU NEED… – T-shirt with sleeves – Athletic shorts – Shoes – Combination Lock – Deodorant

How you get your grade 20 points a day – 10 for dressing out (clothes and shoes) – 10 for participating 5 days per week = 100!!!

DRESSING ROOM LOCK your stuff up EVERYDAY No dressing in bathroom stalls 5 minutes to get dressed

DAILY ROUTINE Enter gym from cafeteria Place belongings in windows or carry ones you will lock up Whistle blows, go to your spot Attendance Discussion Dress Out Warm Up FITNESS AND WELLNESS

MOST IMPORTANTLY… STAY STRONG A strong body means your muscles are toned, you have endurance and flexibilty, and you have enough energy for work and play

A strong MIND means you have a positive attitude, can make healthy decisions, are clearheaded and open to challenges, and are willing to think for yourself.

Leaving the Gym Once you are in here do not leave without permission. We must know where you are! Ask to go to the restroom or get a drink Once we are dressed and starting class, nobody will leave the gym except for an EMERGENCY.

A strong spirit means you have faith in yourself, are in tune with your inner voice, and can bounce back when things don’t go your way.
