Higher / Int.2 Philosophy 1 The course is split into four Units. Two units will be taught by Mrs Jackson at Dyce Academy and two units by Mr Jones at Bucksburn Academy. You will usually be issued with a set of notes at the start of a unit – and you will be expected to spend 10 minutes homework each night after Philosophy making sure you understand the concepts you have been looking at. Please note that if you don’t do this, you will be disadvantaging yourself for exams – this is not a subject you can just pick up for revision. Higher / Int.2 Philosophy 1 Every year, I ask students to do this…. Take the A5 piece of paper and write your name and the date. Now write a sentence about what you want to get from the course. Now write three other pieces of information on the piece of paper. 1.What is your favourite song at the moment. 2.What you would like to do when you leave school. 3.What else you would like to achieve this year.
