UREA

CONTAINS: 46% N 2 Highest N 2 content available in solid fertilizers Urea can be easily converted to: prills/granules Easily transported in: bags/bulk No explosion hazard Dissolves readily in water It leaves no salt residue after use on crops. Can be used as food supplement for ruminants(animals chew over again)

USES 1. Melamine production:

Melamine set of 6 full plate (09 yellow) List Price:Rs.999 Selling Price : Rs.449 You Save Rs. 550 (55% Discount)

Ingredient in : – Resins, plastics, adhesives, coatings, textile anti- shrink agents and ion exchange resins.

Problems in the reactions 1. unconverted NH 3, CO 2 and Ammonium carbamate must be recovered and reused. This is troublesome 2.formation of dimer(urea): must be <1% as it adversely affects plants growth. 3. carbamate decomposition is : SLOW ENDOTHERMIC 4. CARBAMATE is: highly corrosive to ordinary & stainless steels But in presence of Oxygen, 300 series steels can be used. Hence air is intentionally added along with raw materials into the reactor.
