Nigeria BY RYAN MAYES HISTORY 2/12/15

?????????QUESTION?????????  What’s the tradition of people in Nigeria?  Why did great Britain wanted to take over Nigeria?  Who controlled Nigeria?  How did the country take over Nigeria’s land?

What’s the tradition of people in Nigeria?  Religious beliefs: Nigerians are 50 percent of Muslim, 40 percent of Christians, and 10 percent of practice various indigenous religious.  Many people are suffering from the diseases of HIV/AIDS.  The great social have a problem because it is internal violence plaguing the nation and the law was weak.

Why did great Britain wanted to take over Nigeria?  The Great Britain wanted to trade stuff to Nigeria because its very interest. The great British don’t want some country to trade with Nigeria so the British deiced to take over Nigeria in 1807, they were greedy.

Who controlled Nigeria?  Lagos was a capital of Nigeria.  The multiparty government transition from the military to civilian rule.  The Great Britain controlled to Nigeria by the end of the 1800s.

How did the country take over Nigeria’s land?  The great Britain was interesting to trade in Africa in the end of the 19 th century and they knew Africa is too weak and no army. The Africa people were weakling from starving so great Britain was advantaging.
