What is NBC Learn NBC News Archives on Demand For more than 80 years, NBC News has been documenting the people, places, and events that have shaped our world. Now, NBC Learn is making these resources available to colleges and universities.
NBC News Archives on Demand More than 12,000 stories digitized One of the largest news archives in the world Archives dating back to the 1920s Updated with current events every day Archives from Nightly News, TODAY show, Meet the Press, Dateline Made up of short 2 to 5 minute videos Engaging, relevant and inspiring Easily incorporated into classroom lectures or online classes Faculty and students can access the resources and create playlists Easily organized for instruction and research Students can access videos and use in projects and research
Cue Card To deliver these stories in a safe, collaborative online learning environment, NBC Learn has developed a media player called a Cue Card™, that supports videos, photographs, newspaper articles, primary source documents, and other media. The Cue Card media player makes downloading, annotating, and citing resources easy and can be embed into your blackboard course.
