Negatively, to be Happy, One Must Not: Be Lazy! cf. Ephesians 4:28; 2 Thessalonians 3: “He becometh poor that worketh with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich” Proverbs 10:4. 2. “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor” (NKJV) Proverbs 12:24.

Negatively, to be Happy, One Must Not: Be Lazy! cf. Ephesians 4:28; 2 Thessalonians 3: “The way of the lazy man is like a hedge of thorns, but the way of the upright is a highway” (NKJV) Proverbs 15: “Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger” (NKJV) Proverbs 19:15.

Negatively, to be Happy, One Must Not: Consume Alcoholic Beverages! 1. “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whosoever erreth thereby is not wise” Proverbs 20:1. 2. “Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? Who hath complaining? who hath wounds without cause? Who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; They that go to seek out mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, When it sparkleth in the cup, When it goeth down smoothly: At the last it biteth like a serpent, And stingeth like an adder” Proverbs 23:29-32

Positively, to be Happy, One Must: Honor His family Responsibilities! Children should: a.
