In 2015, the TCC Full Board of Directors passed Resolution No submitted by the McGrath Tribal Council. The resolution states that the TCC region will celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day on October 12 th, the day America celebrate Columbus Day, as a way to celebrate the strength of the indigenous people.
