Dissociative disorder LORENZO TERRY PER.2

SLIDE 2 IIIIN this power point I am going to be talking about dissociative disorder, how it can cause memory loss. Another term for memory loss is amnesia. Many people are unable to control their personality

Slide 3 TTTThe main idea of this section is dissociative disorders.

Slide 4  Trauma- A painful physical or emotional Dissociative disorder- A disorder in which a person becomes disconnected with from the body and brain  Amnesia- The sudden loss of memory.  signs: unable to predict, forgot what actions they made  Symptoms: may forget things, sudden loss of memory  A person who has witnessed a sudden death in the family may experience amnesia  The most important thing in this section is that people suffer from trauma/amnesia/dissociative disorder and have loss of memory.

Slide 5 FFFFor example I have a short term memory loss. I have it because my grandmother passed away on thanksgiving. It seemed as if she died my mind went completely blank. I have bad memory when people ask me to remember something

Slide 6 IIII think that it is harsh that many people suffer from amnesia/dissociative disorders, and trauma. I think many people can fight threw it and prevent many disorders. I think that it is hard for someone who has loss someone they love.

Slide 7:summary MMMMany people suffer from dissociative disorders. They may have amnesia, trauma,or any other disorders. Some symptoms are memory loss, or repeatedly doing something over and over again
