 Main goal of strength and conditioning is to prepare athletes for peak performance  Improve strength, speed, agility  This presentation mainly focuses on resistance exercise

 Weighted ball  2-25lbs  Cost varies from $20-$50

 Medicine balls are used to increase power  Often used by boxers to increase abdominal strength  Can be used to increase strength in arms, legs, and chest

 Often called resistance bands  Great tool to strengthen muscles  Inexpensive  Cost varies from $10-$30

 Strength bands can be used to add assistance or resistance to exercise  Exercises that are normally performed with free weights can be done with the strength bands

 Effective training tool to increase explosive leg drive  Increase acceleration  Can also increase agility  Cost $90

 Resistance training  Perform exercises while pulling or pushing the sled  Can add weight to sled

 The Speed Chute allows you to focus on acceleration and top end speed through progressive resistance and overspeed training.

 Athletes perform exercise with the chute to add resistance  This can add blazing breakaway speed, quickness and acceleration for whichever sport you play
