Can you affect the outcome of a conversation by what and how you say it?

There are two sides to each story?

Some Fast Facts There are 127 school buses in Washington County. Over 50% of our school children ride the bus. Approximately 13,500 students are transported to school by bus each day. One school bus trip replaces between 20 to 30 cars, this reduces emissions. Washington County would have 9,000 additional cars on the road if the buses didn’t run one morning.

Some Good News Average fuel consumption for school buses is 8 miles per gallon. Average fuel consumption for personal vehicles averages 20 miles per gallon. Total gallons of fuel used by all school buses per year is approximately 195,000. Total cost of diesel fuel for all buses per year is approximately $740,000. By students riding school buses, the total Washington County residents savings in gallons of fuel is 1,375,174. Total cost savings for Washington County residences in fuel costs per year is $4,954,897.
