Those Seeking Salvation By Works Alone Are Legalists.  It was a problem among the Jews.  It is in Roman Catholicism.  It is in Calvinism

"Legalism" Is The Disposition To Make Or Bind Laws.  Pharisees were the perfect example. Matt. 15:1-20  Those who bind traditions and/or their own convictions  Some think that requiring works (laws) is being like a Pharisee.
