Approach it with Respect Moses approaching the burning bush –Exodus 3:1-5 “put off thy shoes, for this is holy ground” Must have great respect for the Bible –John 12:48 Must have a good attitude –Romans 8:38-39 “I know it says that…but…” –Luke 14:25-27 The Bible is a light and lamp –Psalms 119:105; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

Recognize it as Infallible “Infallible” – Free from error The perfect law of liberty –James 1:25; Psalms 19:7 It is for our perfection –Ephesians 4:12 Develop a love for the Word of God –Isaiah 55:8-9; Galatians 1:10

Accept it as All Sufficient Sufficient guide and pattern –2 Timothy 3:16-17; Titus 1:1-3 –“God Breathed” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; 2 Peter 1:21 –Man is the liar – God is true! Romans 3:4 Cannot change that –If so, human philosophy and religious error is bound to happen
