Expectations It’s Pre AP! You will have more homework and reading. You will be asked to put a lot into this class, but you should take a lot out of it as well. Be productive. Engage with the class on course topics and contribute to the discussion or activities. Be positive. Expect to have a pleasant learning experience every day of class. Voice your views without disrespecting others.

Procedures Cell phones should be placed in the holder at the back of the room. If we need them I will let you know. Look at the board for assignments to begin class. There will be something for you to do as soon as the bell rings on most days. You may go to the bathroom with permission. You must take the pass with you. Exceptions: the first and last 10 minutes of class. Remain seated until the bell rings. Refer to me as Coach Tate.

Class Rules Demonstrate respect for the teacher and your classmates at all times. Respect others property and space. Bring your materials to class. Use language appropriate for school. Profanity is obviously prohibited. However, your language should also reflect an attitude of respect for the teacher and fellow students.
