CHAMPs Expectations Recycling Paper and Throwing Away Trash

Conversation There is no talking while you are on your way to the trash can or recycling bin

Help If you need help, raise your hand from your seat I only answer questions when students raise their hands quietly

Activity Before the second (tardy) bell rings, and when class ends, you may throw away trash or put things in the recycling bin

Movement You need permission to get out of your seat to throw away trash or recycle paper before the tardy bell rings At the end of class, you can throw away your trash on your way out of class

Participation You are meeting my expectations for participation if you: –Throw away your trash before and after class –Ask permission to get out of your seat before the tardy bell rings –Throw away your trash/recycle quietly

Participation You are NOT meeting my expectations if you: –Ask me to throw away trash during the class period –Throw your trash at the trash can –Talk while you are throwing away your trash
