Recycling in Slovakia It’s estimated that each Slovak creates around 327kg of trash every year, however this number is not accurate, as it doesn’t include trash which was thrown out illegally Illegal trash is usually thrown out near roads, forests or lakes and burned to avoid taxes

In Slovakia, we have three kinds of trash bins for recycling Blue – Paper waste Yellow – Plastic waste Green – Glass waste
