Implement recommendations in AICUZ and the Joint Land Use Study Limit risk from airport operations Protect the ability of Joint Base Andrews to carry out its mission

Prohibit certain uses Prevent direct exposure to high noise levels Restrict height limits Treat certain existing uses as conforming

Churches/Places of Worship Prohibited in Clear Zone Limited to 80 sanctuary seats in APZ 1+2 Permitted to Expand up to 6,000 feet Eating and drinking establishments Prohibited in Clear Zone Limited to 6,000 sf in C-S-C Zone, 3,500 sf everywhere else in APZ 1+2 Medical offices in Clear Zone Retail sales in Clear Zone Office uses that exceed.08 F.A.R. (accessory offices.15) School (public or private), club/lodge, or public building Commercial and Industrial Uses involving the manufacturing of explosives, fireworks or gunpowder, pesticides or fertilizers

Requires inside noise levels at 45 dBA in new residential Certification of noise reduction if required by the Building Code for new non-residential Prohibits outdoor play areas and active outdoor recreational uses in High Intensity Noise Areas (exceeds 74dBA)

Limited Permitted Uses are treated as confirming if: The use is permitted in the underlying zone Provided the use has a valid U&O Permit All Prohibited Uses will be Non- conforming but can: Continue to operate Maintain and repair your property Change tenants w/ same use
