Universal Access Dedicated instruction time to meet the individual needs of your student in a group setting. Enrichment Inquiry Re-teach 9 th Grade Curriculum Integrated Math 1 The reasoning behind introducing your student to the 9 th grade curriculum is to hopefully have the student test out of Integrated Math 1, Freshman math, enabling them to reach high levels of math during their high school career to prepare them for college.

Homework Homework will be given on a nightly basis Monday – Thursday and occasionally on Friday’s. The format of homework your student will be receiving will take on various forms such as: Problems assigned from textbook. Quizzes Research Based Essays etc. Occasionally, there will a project or essay assigned to the students, but they will be given advance notice. Students learn at different paces, therefore, there may be times when students are assigned different problems for homework.

Grading Homework = 10% Credit/No Credit Format C – CreditPC – Partial Credit NC – No CreditINC – Incomplete Classwork: 15% Late Assignments * Late assignments will be accepted ONLY if they are turned in the following day fully completed. * Late assignments will receive partial credit. Projects/Quizzes = 30% * Projects will be graded according to a rubric. Rubrics will be available for students and parents to view the day the assignment is given. Tests = 45% * Re-test – Students may re-take any test, regardless of the score received. They must complete an error analysis page and have parent permission to re-take the test. Re- takes will take place one week from the date the exam was given to the students after school from 2:15 – 3:15 p.m.
