08/2003 – NENA meeting in Atlanta to begin planning for NG9-1-1 Set standards for migration to NG9-1-1 including i1, i2 and i3 (anticipating i3, v2 being published 1Q2016 and i3, v3 work to begin) NG9-1-1 Development, Transition, Security

Other Important Milestones Accessibility Standards Developed standard processes for handling Number Portability Wireless Integration Model Legislation & Recommendations for handling MLTS
