Ⅰ INTRODUCTION A recent forensic autopsy case, which involved a very serious medical dispute case, will be i llustrated here. Two deceased, the pregnant woman and her new-born baby, dead in this case.

The autopsy was performed by Judicial Expertise Center of Yunnan Province for the purpose of (1) determining the causes of death; (2) trying to show the relation between the deaths and the alleged malpractice involved the hospital.

2 CASE REPORT The 22-year-old young woman was taken to one of the hospitals in to give birth to her first baby. Fourth, the bodies were kept in the hospital for medical compensation; Finally, the hospital had to pay the family a big sum of money before the autopsy report was issued and the whole dispute was solved. About the doctors involved in this case: (1) They had been tortured a lot; (2) They did not know why the hospital must listen to the family members and paid for the family without any principle; (3) They also did not understand why the hospital could not save the deceased's life. Fourthly, the media propaganda for the medical dispute is a big issue at present. It has greatly affected a lot on the public and the Chinese society. Fifthly, life insurance in China is not perfect enough for the medical compensation and some of the people do hope to get some money back from the relevant hospital.

Sixthly, some population gets less income and some of the patients still live in the “ poor class ” in the present society.

Finally, some other factors in Chinese society, such as lawyers ’ unscrupulous practice and ambiguous laws criteria about medical malpractice, make the sequence of medical work even worse.
