Fine Arts Program rated Exemplary Stillman M.S. Fine Arts students earned many awards and distinctions in U.I.L. and other competitions. The Fine Arts students participate in Ballroom Dance, Band, Choir, Dance and Visual Arts. Stillman Middle School

Wellness and Physical Education Programs rated Recognized Stillman Middle School had: 100% participation in the Red Ribbon Week events. 100% of students were tested using the Fitness Gram. Campus sponsored a Health Fair. Stillman Middle School

Community and Parental Involvement rated Recognized Stillman Middle School has a parent liaison that hosts monthly parent meetings. The parent meetings are to inform parents on district programs, strategies to help their child, and services that are available. Dropout Prevention Strategies rated Exemplary Stillman M. S. has 3 academic counselors and 1 at-risk counselor that work together to provide guidance to our students. Our teachers provide after school tutorials for additional support. Computer software and online programs are used to improve math and reading skills. Stillman Middle School

Second Language Acquisition Program Recognized ELL students were provided with cultural awareness experiences. ELL students in need of supplemental academic support were provided language tools to assist in development of the English language listening, speaking, reading, and writing. ELL students have the opportunity to attend Rosetta Stone in the computer lab. Different E.S.L. methods are applied for the acquisition of the English Language. Digital Learning Environment rated Exemplary Campus resources were aimed at supporting technology integration in instruction (smart boards, LCD projectors, I-pads, laptops, etc). Gifted and Talented Program rated Recognized All teachers assigned G/T identified students during the school year participated in on-going training appropriate for G/T students. GT identified students participated in showcase opportunities (chess, history fair, science fair, UIL, etc). Students participating in many of these events represented Stillman Middle School at the State Level. Stillman Middle School
