Launch of Heartbeat Suite – April 2010 “ The support of the Children’s Heartbeat Trust has been instrumental to the success of the Heartbeat Suite. The Heartbeat Suite allows us to utilise modern tele-medicine technologies. We can now consult with families and parents in their own homes, and it also improves our links with colleagues across the province, enabling us to provide diagnosis for patients in other hospitals too. Children’s MRI Scanner Appeal - - £2,000,000 Appeal for an MRI Scanner in the RBHSC - Benefit all sick children in Northern Ireland - An estimated 1/5 of it’s use would be dedicated to Clark Clinic patients - Committed £200,000 to this Appeal and employee time

Transition Service Launch – Dec 2010 rheartz is a Nurse-led Congenital Heart Disease Transition Clinic for year olds Children’s Heartbeat Trust are funding elements within this new service such as literature and will be developing the Beating Hearts Teenager Group with advice and support from the cardiac liaison nurses.
