Conditions At Mt. Sinai Sin of idolatry (Exodus 32:1-8) – Placed trust in what could be seen – Same today: fine building; large crowd Shifting responsibility (vs ) – Aaron blamed the people Yielded to majority – Even blamed “nature” (v. 24) Often yield to what we say is beyond our control

The Challenge “Come” (Exodus 32:26) – Levites came; they knew “Lord’s side” – Exodus 20:4 We must declare self – Let people know where we stand Joshua 24:14, 15 – Lord respects & expects loyalty Luke 11:23
