1) Plan Ahead and Prepare -Reduces logistical problems -control waste -Limit litter -Prepare for the worst -Know regulations -Plan an achievable route -Plan to limit noise

2) Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces Durability refers to the ability of surfaces or vegetation to withstand wear or remain in a stable condition. Durability refers to the ability of surfaces or vegetation to withstand wear or remain in a stable condition. -Erosion of paths/landslides -Compacted earth

3) Dispose of Waste Properly - Litter harms wildlife -Disrespectful to future visitors -Attract animals -Cat holing
