Automotive Management Simulatie

Objectives To let managers in the automotive branch experiment in a self intuition way without any risk, including all the management aspects of a car company

Why using a simulation? People remember only 10 % of what they read, 40 % of what they hear or see and 90 % of what they do themselves Learning processes are more and more based on self intuition A simulation is a simplified interpretation of the complex reality of a business process New developments in the branch can be easy be implemented in the simulation The simulation can be ‘tailor made’ by adjustments of data, assignments or incidents

Advantages –Participants work active and understand the business process in a relatively short time –Participants use different instruments to obtain their objectives, learn to think analytical and find creative solutions to sudden incidents –Participants learn faster because their acting leads immediately to results. They have to co-operate as a team and negotiate to obtain the team objectives –Moreover there is freedom to experiment because there decisions does no influence real live!

In short, in a simulation…. You learn to understand the business process You have to think analytical You dare to experiment You are challenged to work creative and solution minded in a team

Content of the simulation decisions reflect direct to business results Indirect influence of business result Assignment No influence of business result
