I live in Merrillville, Indiana This is a picture of my school.

Merrillville is in Lake County. This is in the northwest corner of the state. Merrillville, my home town.

Here is Lake County.

This is the United States Here we are!

Indiana is one of 50 states in the United States of America This is our state’s flag

This is the flag of our country.

N.A. S.A. These are the continents of North America and South America.

This is a map of North America. North America is a large body of land called a continent. Do you see the United States? Do you see Indiana? Canada and Mexico share our continent. Canada is our neighbor to the north, and Mexico is our neighbor to the south.

And here we are, in the Northern Hemisphere of our earth. That means we’re located on the upper half of the globe.

This is our earth. We are only a tiny part of the world, and the world is only a tiny part of the universe!
