What is a Yuga? Yuga’s describe the age/stage of the world. There are 4 main stages, Satya, Treta, Dwapar, and Kali Unfortunately but also fortunately, we are in Kali Yuga.

What is Kali Yuga? " Age of Darkness." The era of "spiritual decline" that has just started. Is the worst of all the Yuga’s as well as the last of the yuga’s Kali is the reigning lord of Kali Yuga, and the nemesis of Sri Kalki, the 10th and final main avatar of Lord Vishnu.

When does it Happen? Kali yuga happens after the first 3 cycles. Satya : 1,728,000 years Treta: 1,296,000 years Dwapar: 864,000 years Kali: 432,000 years Satya Treta Dwapar Kali

What will happen when it is in full effect? In Society People will get shorter and smaller Life span will only be maximum years People marrying earlier and starting families when they are 5-6 years Fetuses will be killed in the wombs of their mothers. Shopkeepers will run dishonest businesses. Vaishnavas will be hard to find and people will think they are crazy

What will happen when it is in full effect? (continued) In Society People will devote themselves only to earn money The richest will hold power. People will be envious. No one will be able to trust anyone else. Will be many displaced persons, wandering from one country to another. People will call themselves god. Many children born whose life expectancy is no more than 16 years. Water will be lacking Severe droughts and plagues will be everywhere. Slovenliness, illness, hunger and fear spread. Nations are continually at war with one another.

What will happen when it is in full effect? (continued) In Society Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish. People will take vows only to break them soon after People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks Men will find their jobs stressful and will go to retreats to escape their work. Gurus will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted and followers of Kama will wrest control of the mind from all human beings. Cows are killed once their milk production drops. Pre-cooked food will be readily available False doctrines and misleading religions spread across the globe

What will happen when it is in full effect? (continued) In relation to rulers Thieves will become kings, and kings will be the thieves. Rulers will confiscate property and use it badly. They will cease to protect the people Will levy taxes unfairly Become a danger to the world.

What will Happen after it? Cycle will start again with Satya Yuga 1000 years of Growth Kalki will Come Continuous Rain

Why should we worry about Kali Yuga? No one will care about spiritual Advancement There will be very few people like us. Since Kali Yuga hasn’t taken its full effect, we should focus on lord when we have the time We do not want to be born here again when Kali Yuga has taken it’s affect!

The Yuga Avatar Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was the Yuga avatar. Each Yuga has one avatar or form of the Lord Came to show us what a true devotee should be like Came in combined form of Sri Krishna and Srimathi Radha Rani

The one Good Thing! In Kali Yuga, just by Chanting you can get Liberated! This is the only effective means in Kali Yuga. Many people want to be born in this yuga for this very reason!
