PART II Our Lord’s Last Supper May 3, 2015

The Plot to Kill Jesus  It is now two days before Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  The Jewish leaders wanted to arrest Jesus secretly.

The Anointing at Bethany  Mary lavishly worshipped Jesus and showed her devotion to him.  Jesus told Judas and his disciples to leave her alone because she has done a beautiful thing.  Jesus said that Mary anointed his body for burial beforehand.  Jesus prophesied Mary will always be remembered for this.

Judas Makes Plans to Betray Jesus  Judas went to the chief priests in order to betray Jesus.  From this point forward, Judas was looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus.

The Preparation of Passover  The disciples asked Jesus about Passover preparations.  Jesus sent two of his disciples to go ahead of the disciples to make preparations.  Peter and John went into Jerusalem and found everything as Jesus described.
