Preparing for  Math Expressions  Think Central access   Submit by April 30th  Save binders for reuse in  Digital Plan

Mr. Jackson has 27 students. He has received 9 new students since the beginning of 2 nd semester. Three students left for charter schools this week and 2 were expelled. Eight students have IEPs and 3 students have 504 plans. His school has missed 8 days due to inclement weather, of which 4 have to be made up in ½ days on Saturdays….when only an average of 42% of his students show up. Only 10 of his students had a pencil on the day of the EOG, and 6 forgot to take their medication. 12 students are currently being recommended for reading camp due to Read to Achieve. This assessment will be used to determine the students’ understanding of grade level content and Mr. Jackson’s ability to show a year’s worth of growth with his students. How likely is it that Mr. Jackson will be rated “above the state average?” Write an equation and solve. Let’s finish with a math problem…
