Our Lego NXT Robot Lego Mindstorms NXT robot is a robot that can be programmed by us in a computer. It can also be built in various ways: a car, a scorpion etc. It also has different sensors to detect light, touch, distance and sound. Our whole group built it together and although we added some changes in the end, we still like 守株待兔 very much. Our NXT Robot named 守株待兔

Why we named it 守株待兔 and our Final Program - We name it because of the program we made, it is programmed to attack other when they come near. When it sensed something, it will start to move. When bumped, it will attack with its claws And go forward When sensed the black line, it will release the enemy and move backward Our Final Program

Videos, Problems we Found and The Solutions We won our first match without even moving! But we lost our second match… Problems Our vehicle isn’t powerful enough to push them To solve this, we need to add more things to it to make it heavier Our vehicle can fall out because the pieces is not enough to hold the heavy parts To solve this, we can add more parts between to make them tighter

Our Lab Tour We visited 5 labs and we all had a good experience: –Malcolm: I thought it was good to see such advanced technology equipment. The Lab Tutor explained very well and he gave me a tiny gear of a watch as well. –Frankie: Wow, this is really a very good experience for all of us, I now know more about the lab and the very advanced technology. –Billy: I learned a lot about the fancy gadgets and I know the humans here now is very creative and smart. –Ryan: I thought the lab visit would be boring, but that all changed when I went into the labs. I thought they explained very well and I would like to go back one more time. –Marco: I think I have more interest in these labs, I am very proud of human, because they can be very creative.

How We Feel About the Whole Camp We all feel different about camp: –Malcolm: I have learned a lot in this camp. Although the camp is only 3 days, I still learned a lot more about Lego NXT Robots and the program. –Frankie: I feel that I can now be more active in this kind of activity, because this is so fun if I don’t participate, I will miss all the fun. –Billy: I learnt a lot more about Lego NXT Robots, I am really happy I can participate in this camp because at first I don’t want to participate in this. –Ryan: I learnt a lot about computer programming at this camp. I think this camp is very good and I hope I can go to this camp every year. –Marco: I hope I can come again and meet the friend again.
