Encourage students to use EducoSoft properly. use EducoSoft properly.use EducoSoft properly. 1.Students begin with the tutorial, taking the VERIFY SKILL test for each objective to see if they need to do the work or not for that objective. If they get 100% on that short 4 problem VERIFY SKILL test, they will be able to skip the discussion and exercises for that objective. –They will check off the mastery box on their tutorial check-off chart for that objective when they get 100% on that skill test. If they get less than 100% they will be prompted to do the discussion and exercises and then do the VERIFY SKILL test again. –Once mastery is reached for the objective they can check off the mastery box and proceed to the next objective and repeat this process.

Require that the students keep a notebook of their work, including a tutorial check-off chart showing which objectives they have mastered and which objectives need more work. Require that the students follow this cycle until they can show evidence that they have mastered all objectives in all the sections. Use the Gradebook feature to: View individual or class test results and see how much time they are spending in their tutorials. Upload offline grades to Gradebook. Review the student’s progress in doing the assigned homework, quizzes, and tests. Provide each student with information about their progress in the class instantly, upon demand, from their own computer.
Instructors can use the Gradebook feature to provide an early alert to their ‘at risk’ students, by giving specific evidence of which sections need further work in order to gain mastery of the math.
