Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning Ian Hughes

If in the last few years you haven’t discarded a major opinion or acquired a new one, check your pulse; you may be dead. Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning

So what’s wrong with much of the training we do now?

Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning So what is accelerated learning? It’s the use of the full mind and the whole personality to accelerate and enhance the learning process….. Accelerated learning is an end, not a means!

Familiar Ingredients

Different Recipes

Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning So what is the difference? Same ingredients, different recipes…..plus Whole mind and whole body learning Visual, physical (brain-switching) Learner creation not learner consumption Creating knowledge, building own understanding Participation & collaboration Everyone is a learner and a tutor or coach Multi-dimensional, levels, methods, styles, media Greater alignment with learner in-take preferences Real world not theoretical Real practice, simulation, performance

Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning Rigid Somber & Serious Single-pathed Competitive Time-based Boring Frightening Controlled Isolated Turns them out? Traditional learning environment?

Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning Triune Brain Paul MacLean, the former Director of the Laboratory of the Brain and Behavior at the United States National Institute of Mental Health. The Reptilian Complex consists of the brain stem and the cerebellum. Its purpose is closely related to actual physical survival and maintenance of the body. The cerebellum orchestrates movement. Digestion, reproduction, circulation, breathing, and the execution of the "fight or flight" response in stress are all housed in the brain stem. The Limbic System, the second brain to evolve, houses the primary centers of emotion. The neocortex constitutes five-sixths of the human brain. The neocortex makes language, including speech and writing possible. It renders logical and formal operational thinking possible and allows us to see ahead and plan for the future.

Wizz Training Accelerating Your Learning Once upon a time an enterprising turkey gathered the flock together and with demonstrations and instructions, taught them how to fly. All through the day they enjoyed soaring and reaching new vistas. After the training was over, all the turkeys said goodbye and walked home.
