Geography Lots of beaches Rainforest- a dense forest that receives a lot of rain Woods- rich soil

Climate Hot in some places like Hawaii. Very cold in places like Alaska. There is lots of rain.

Industry Manufacturing- so we can make goods in factories. Trading-Giving some thing away that you don’t need to get some thing you do need. Service- so we can take care of people.

Culture Rose Festival Iditarod-Dog race Luaus- a feast that includes singing, dancing and pig roast.

Attractions Volcanoes-A opening in earths surface. Big Sur-A place You can camp, go to the beach and look off cliffs. Rainforest-A dense forest that gets lots of water.

Fun facts Native Americans in Alaska and Washington are famous for their Totem poles because the poles are painted and carved. They have symbols or animals on them. One of the most famous places in Hollywood is the Walk of Fame because the Walk has the names of more than 2,000 people carved in it.
