Ancestry

These coconut trees and mountains represent my backround. Both these geological features can be found in the Philippines.

The Chimborazo Mountain is located South America, Ecuador. Its part of the Andes Mountain Range. It is the tallest in Ecuador. Measuring ft.

Mt. Popocatepetl, 45 miles from Mexico City, 17,833 feet tal,l 2 nd highest mountain in Mexic, active volcano, It was formed when the plates in the ground collided with one another making the magma push up and the lava was formed.

Feature of Ancestry  This is the highest peak in Mexico called Pico de Orizaba. This mountain is visited too snow or rock climbing. The word “pico” is the Spanish word for point, yet the mountain peak is not pointy. The height of this mountain is 5,636 meters high.

Geologic experiences

In 2008, there was a flood that rushed in to my house. It flooded from my basement all the way up to my first floor. There was nothing we could do to stop the flooding.

I haved experienced an Earthquake. It was in Ecuador and very strong. It destroyed many house and many people were injured

lLast year it was raining hard and wouldn’t stop. My basement flooded almost up to the first floor of my house. Going outside then we had a huge lake for the streets and yards.

Experienced  In Mexico earthquakes are more frequent because of the movement of the plates underneath the crust of ground. It was a very weird feeling to experience an earthquake yet it was fun for me.

Geologic Influences.

Geological events influence different parts of the world. A tornado Is a perfect example. Through its rushing winds it destroys houses, trees, and anything that gets in its way. After a tornado has run through an area people are left homeless, and with no place to go..that goes along with floods. People are left homeless

Tsunamis have influenced many parts of the world. People have lost lives, homes and many of their valuables. Many people have had to move because of this terrible geologic event.

Geological events can turn out in a bad way. Floods can wipe out all the electrical systems to houses. Fires, tsunami’s, tornadoes, and valcanos can take away a families home in minutes.

Influence Feature  Hurricanes are all Geological events that have influenced the world at different times in different ways. Its has showed that once we experience something like that is when we listen too the warnings being made.
