California’s Slide Show By:Elise lofgran

The Great Seal *State Seal of California was redesigned in 1937. *The sailing ships represent California’s economic power . *The miner California Gold rush . *The bear eating a grapr represents California’s wine prodution.

California poppy *The California poppy can grow to 5-60cm tall. *Only grows in California, extending to Oregon, southern Washington, Nevada and in Mexico. *Has a long stem and a silky texture. *Grows best in poor soil, full sun, and sandy areas.

San Diego zoo *The San Diego zoo is rated the fifth best state in the world. *On Sunday they are open 8am to 6:30pm *Also on Friday they are open 9:00am to 8:00 *There are tons of amimals and fun all located at the San Diego Zoo.

Disney land *Disney Land is a exciting place where dreams come true. *there are also fun rides and roller coasters *If you go to Disney Land I recommend you go on these rides, California Scream’n, and Splash Mountain
