Our national sport is the men’s volleyball team that represents the country in internetional competitions and friendly matches. Poland’s most recent success is gold at the 2009 European Championship, after defeating France in the finals.

Poland are good at winter sports. The most popular winter sports are Ski Jumping and Ski Running. The best Ski Jumper is Adam Małysz, and the best Ski runner is Justyna Kowalczyk.

Adam Henryk Małysz is a former Polish ski jumper, one of the most successful ski jumpers in the history. The most important of Małysz's successes are 4 individual Olympic Games medals, 4 individual World Championships gold medals (all-time record), 4 individual World Cup titles ), 39 individual competition wins and 92 podiums in total.

Justyna Kowalczyk is a polish cross country skier who has been competing since She is one of the most successful cross country skiers of all time, being the only skier in the history with victories in all the most important sport events, so called "The Big Crown": Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup and Tour de Ski.
