  The name itself comes from two languages. Sepak is "kick" in Malay, and Takraw is the "ball" in Thai. Literally meaning kickball.  The game is very similar to volleyball or badminton, but only feet are used to score. What is It?

  The use of hands is not permitted.  Each player may touch the ball only once before it is kicked over the net.  There is no rotation in the defense position.  It becomes a score even if the ball touches the net before falling into the companion court.  The team which scored two sets out of three sets first get the victory in the game. Each sets consist of 15 points. Only 6 points of the the third set are systems. Rules

 Ball  A ball made of the plastic is being used as an official ball from the 11th Beijing Asian convention.  The weight of the ball is 170g-190g, and the size of it is 40cm, and there is a hole of 12 in it. It is much smaller than a handball, a little bigger than a softball.

  Sepak Takraw is an on growing sport that has not yet taken over in America.  International play is now governed by ISTAF, the International Sepak Takraw Federation. The King's Cup World Championships are held every year in Thailand.  Sepak takraw is now a regular sport event in the Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games. Conclusion
