The villagers are being organised so they can discuss and tell what they actually need Health and education are high on the list, and material needs are essential, such as: Nearby and safe drinking water land for growing wheat supplies and know-how for crop diversification inputs and irrigation water for higher yields fodder and water for animals fire and building wood reasonable prices for inputs and products Awareness is being build that it can pay off to work together. Women are being organised to exchange experience and views to build their awareness and to give them a voice in community affairs to engage in common interests to receive extension on householding and child care to be trained for income generating activities including kitchen gardening and the keeping of sheep, goats and chicken

In the frame of the water supply programme education on Health & Hygiene is given Subjects that are raised concern inter alia:  The importance of safe drinking water  How to stay away from contamination  General diseases such as malaria and diarrhoea problems  Vaccination programmes Instructions on child care
