AMON Reprocessing Hybrid IGS05+IGS08

EPN Reference Criteria: Long history Reliable TimeSeries Minimal gaps Geographical distribution Other neighbour EPN stations added: GOPE, GSR1, MEDI, MOPI, TUBO, VACO

AMON Site Handling Starting with year 2006, back to 1998 – first run Keeping old site names (e.g. TRFB instead of TRF2) Problem of antenna height consistency logsheet – STA-file of BSW Bernese Software 5.0 (BSW) Orbits + ERP reprocessed IGS05 Reference coordinates + velocities IGS08 Using BEV logsheets Same strategy as in EPN analysis Daily results Weekly results separate run

Detected Problems Not yet all BEV logsheets included into STA-files – inconsistencies Overlapping times in BEV logsheets (e.g. BLEI-BLE2) and different antenna heights Individual antenna calibrations not always applied (dummy antenna numbers in STA-file, not 5 digits in RINEX files, semi- automatic preprocessing needs manual interference and is consuming human time) Not all problems vanish (equipment, snow), some new appear, same experience as in EPN repro1 Strange EPN site TUBO (constant 5-10 cm difference to a priori IGS08)

First Results Processing time 1 day = 1 hour Starting with January 1st 2006, presently about 50 days Total of 80 stations About 5 stations with large (>5 cm) differences, 3 EPN sites (JOZE-snow?, MOPI-snow?, TUBO?) About 5 stations with moderate (2 cm) differences, antenna calibration or antenna type mismatch? 70 stations coincide within 10 mm into AMON solution of 2011!!! Significantly improved solution (height)
