Lesson 3. Being a Hero After completing the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Explain what a hero is. 2. Describe and ask questions about a picture using the 5 Ws. (Who? What? Where? When? Why?) 3. Tell a story based on pictures using transitional words.

Picture Description Use the 5Ws : Who? What? When? Where? Why?

“A fire fighter saved a baby from a fire. He held the baby and looked at him/her. He smiled because the baby was safe.”

Complete the Storyboard You and your partner have the storyboard for a short animated film that is to be made. called "A hero". Unfortunately, some parts are missing. Working together, draw the missing scenes. You have parts 1, 3 and 5 (or 2, 4 and 6). You can describe the drawings, but you mustn't show them to your partner.

Later, the brave man received an award from the police.
