Year Round Recruiting “It’s not just a Fall thing!!” Timeline –January – May: Prepare for Spring recruiting, New Tigers, and Webelos to Scout. –March – May: Spring recruiting –May: Begin preparation and orientation for next years recruiting plan. –June – July: Pack prepares program calendar, budget, & fact sheet. –August – October: Fall recruiting –October – November: Membership renewal & Charter renewal 3

Scheduling Schools Our Goal should be: Every School has a recruitment to allow those boys a chance to join Cub Scouts!! Your District Executive has a date targeted or scheduled for your Pack already!! How much school access does your pack have?? –No School Access: No Fliers or boy talks –Limited School Access: Fliers only, no boy talks –Full School Access: Boy Talks & fliers are allowed. 5
