Who do you need to hire? How much will that cost?

Presentations Marking Correct use of the English language Use of grammar Use of vocabulary Range Pronunciation Ease of Talking Presentation Structure General Presentation Skills

Presentations Tips Don’t use overly complicated language Speak slowly Avoid abbreviations as much as possible when giving a professional presentation Avoid slang Use transition words and phrases (furthermore, moreover, secondly, to illustrate, similarly, for that reason, in summary, etc)

Business Plans Feedback; Common Mistakes “We offer a luxurious spa with childcare.” “In addition to fitness, the gym has the opportunity to do sports in groups.” “Our clubhouse is 50,000 square feet.” “Fifteen years ago, a gap in the market came to the attention of the owners of the club” “Out gym offers a large selection off activities and services” “The children can play while the mother fitness”

Adjectives & Adverbs How to distinguish between adjectives and adverbs Adjectives modify nouns (zelfstandig naamwoorden). To modify means to change in some way. For example: This is a beautiful song. ‘beautiful’ tells us what kind of meal it is. Adverbs modify verbs (werkwoorden). She sings beautifully. ‘beautifully’ tells something about how she sings.

Adjectives & Adverbs Be sure to understand the differences between the following two examples: "The dog smells carefully." Here, carefully describes how the dog is smelling. We imagine him sniffing very cautiously. But: "The dog smells clean." Here, clean describes the dog itself. It's not that he's smelling clean things or something; it's that he's had a bath and does not stink.
