Lacey kept rereading the letter she was certain someone was going to jump ay second and say they where playing a trick on her…..

But no one did… still Lacey decided just to ignore it… but something inside of her told her not to and that she needed to go to the book store….

As she entered the bookstore she saw a picture on the window that caught her eye….

It was a picture of HER FACE….

But as she looked closely she saw that there is going to be a book talk with the author, her name was Monica Bowman.

Lacey started thinking about the letter she had received in the mail earlier that day and some words popped into her head YOU HAVE A TWIN……

But Lacey shook that thought out of her head and came up with a better explanation… Monica Bowman was an IMPOSTER. And she had stolen Lacey’s face.

Of course Lacey didn’t actually believe this but she did not want to think of having a twin…..

But what was Lacey suppose to do she was deaf so she couldn’t just show up at the book talk and start yelling at her, she needed someone to interpret.

So she called someone who she didn’t think she would talk to ever again her old roommate back at the orphanage named Kelly.

Kelly agreed to interpret but sadly the book talk was cancelled….

Now Lacey didn’t know what to do so she decided to get help from her friends.

Lacey and her friends figure out a plan to search for Monica.

While Lacey got the most shocking news of her life, Monica, her twin, is just going through her normal everyday life. Not knowing that she has a twin sister.

Monica has a perfect life, she has been given everything she ever wanted, but she always felt like there was something missing from her life, that half of her was empty.

But little did Monica know that her life was about to change, a secret will be revealed that has been hidden for so many years.

As Monica let in the next person to talk to her about her book there was something strange about this man.

He started asking her personal questions instead of questions about the book.

And suddenly the strange man got up and said he had to leave.

Monica thought that was really strange but she didn’t have time to worry about it because she had to go to a book talk.

Meanwhile Lacey’s plan was about to begin……

Lacey walked into the bookstore and sat down in the back she had a disguise on so no one would think that she was Monica.

Monica stepped out and began to talk about her book….

Lacey stood up and started asking Monica questions but they were almost the same questions that the strange man had asked her earlier and once again it wasn't about her book it was about her personal life.

Monica refused to answer the questions and asked Lacey who she was.

Lacey didn’t answer and quickly ran away…

But Monica chased after her and when she finally caught up she took off Lacey’s disguise….

Monica felt like she was looking into a mirror only she wasn't…

Both girls were speechless…….

“OMG were twins” Monica said

Lacey couldn't’ talk so she talk out a pen and paper and wrote, “I know that’s why I came her”

“Wait are you deaf?” Said Monica. Lacey nodded her head yes

“I can’t believe this how could I not know I had a twin.” said Monica

“Why don’t you ask your parents there the ones who gave me away and kept you”, Lacey wrote down

“They couldn’t have just given you away there has to be a reason, I know where they are lets go ask them.”

“No, I don’t want to meet them they gave me away and kept you!.” Lacey wrote.

“But if we go to them they can give us an explanation!!”

“I don’t want to hear and plus this has been enough for one day.” Lacey wrote.

“Okay but your going to have to meet them someday after all they are your parents, I am just so happy I found you.”

Monica went up and hugged Lacey, she was a little hesitant at first but after all she was her sister
