The Photographer In Me

Photo 1

This photo was taken outside of school for our spring pictures. In this photo the rule of thirds, selective focus, and grouping were used. I used a school camera. If I could take this photo again, I would change the angle. I would have taken it more from the side because the bottom of the picture looks slightly blurry. To Photoshop this picture I cropped, brighten and changed the exposure of the photo. The mood of the photo is very spring like. I took this picture when the flowers were blooming. The pink also adds to the overall feel of spring.

Photo 2

This photo was taken during are spring shot, outside of Howard Street. Rule of thirds and leading lines were used in this photo. I used a school camera If I could take this photo again I would get all of the tree in the picture and not have the top cut off. In Photoshop I brighten the picture and then used color spot on the grass. By the picture you can tell it was a rainy day and having most of the photo black and white, it just adds to the darkness overall.

Photo 3

This photo was taken for our second spring pictures, outside of the school. This photo used the rule of thirds, selective focus, and grouping. I used a school camera. If I were to take this photo again I would focus more on the grass with the water drops because that is my favorite part. For Photoshop I cropped, brightened and changed the exposure of the picture. The picture seems bright and springy. The pink flowers around it also add to the spring look. The water on the grass shows it just got done raining.

Photo 4

This picture was taken in front of the school for our second spring pictures. This photo used the rule of thirds, selective focus and some grouping. I used a school camera. If I took the photo again I would change the angle to see more of the top of the flower, instead of only seeing the side. For Photoshop I just brighten and fixed the exposure of the picture. Even though the picture was taken in the spring, it doesn’t look very spring because it is mainly green with a red flower.

Photo 5

This photo was also taken for our second spring pictures, in the front of the school. This photo uses the rule of third, selective focus and grouping. I used a school camera. I would not change much about this picture, beside trying different angles. On Photoshop I brightened and changed the exposure. I also cropped the picture, to make the flower be the focus of the picture. The picture is very springy because of the color of the flowers. There also is water on the leaves which reminds me of spring.

Part 2 My photos shows who I am as an artist because my favorite place to be is in parks, surrounded by trees and flowers. Which nature photos are my favorite to take.

Part 2 My style of photography I enjoy taking.

Part 2 Two favorite pictures of the semester.

Part 2 Pictures I don’t enjoy taking are portraits. I find them more difficult to take then nature photos. I also find it hard to think of different ways the person can look to show different emotions. Even though portraits are not my favorite I would still like learn more about taking better ones.
