The Photographer in Me By Aleah Lewis Period 2

Picture 1 My picture was about showing off the spring time and showing all of the beautiful flowers that grow during spring. This picture was taken behind the football field and South Salem High School. The composition that I used for this photo was lighting and grouping. The camera that I used was the Fujifilm with 12 megapixels. Something that I could’ve improved on was to not crop out some of the flower because I wanted to show all of the flowers group together but ill know better next time. The Photoshop edit that I used was brightness and contrast.

Picture 2 My photo was about the fun Tyga concert that I went to in Corvallis. I feel like I used Selective Focus as well as Grouping because I just wanted a picture of the blue letters but I ended up getting the crowd in the picture. I used my IPhone camera to take this photograph. Something I would change about this photo is that that I would have zoomed in more to get the full effect of the letters instead of taking it from so far away. I didn’t edit this photo at all. The mood of this photo is excitement because everyone is excited to see Tyga perform and the energy was just great!

Picture 3 This photo is about sports and one in particular football and this photo was taken of the football stadium at South Salem High School. The composition I used for this photograph was leading lines. The camera that I used for this photograph was Fujifilm with 12 megapixels. Something that I would change about this photo is that I would have tried to capture the whole field instead of part of the field and the bleachers so I could show off how nice the field is. The Photoshop edits that I used were brightness and exposure. In all honesty I don’t feel that this photo portrays a specific mood.

Picture 4 My picture is showing off the auditorium for the Trey Songz concert that I went to in Las Vegas. The composition I used for this image was lighting. The camera that I used to take this photograph was my IPhone. I wouldn’t want to change anything about this photo because I like it the way it is. I didn’t edit this picture at all. The mood of this photo is suspense. I felt in suspense because I was so excited for Trey Songz to come out and perform!

Picture 5 What I was trying to show off in this picture is the view over the softball field at South Salem High School. The composition I used for this photograph was Horizon Line and Lighting. The camera that I used to take this picture was the Fujifilm with 12 megapixels. Something that I would want to change about this photo is that I wish I would've zoomed in a bit so that the people viewing the photo could see the trees and other things in the background that aren't really clear. I honestly didn’t edit this photo at all, I happened to get great lighting for this picture and I was very happy with that. The mood for this photo was very serine. This picture made feel calm and I like that about this picture.

Myself as an Artist What these photos say about me as an artist is that I like to take photos of the most random things whether it be flowers, concert halls, football fields, etc. I also like to either take pictures with bright backgrounds or edit them so that they will become bright pictures to make it seem very vibrant and bring a happy mood to anyone who views the picture. Something that I could take pictures of all day long would be I different types of pretty flowers. I also like to take pictures of trees in all of the different seasons because I like to see the pretty color changes.

My favorite picture that I have taken this Semester
