Mosa Mojakisane High Schools Officer

Introduction  High schools learners are an important source in ensuring that ACTS and known at an earlier stage.  It helps to ensure that learners from high school to varsity are already informed about ACTS and they do not get in a different environment.  It teaches high school learner, groom and consciously prepare them on their arrival at varsity.

Aims  To advertise ACTS to schools learners so that they are aware of it.  To improve the educational levels in the country.  To make sure that ACTS remains relevant to the youth of SA in order to bring about change in a long run.  To create a community of intellects that will be able to take SA forward and improve its economy.  To make education more fashionable at all aspects of our school.  To impact knowledge that will sustain these learners now and for generations to come.

Objectives  Engaging with school through educational program.  Hold seminars the learners in order to equip them with all the relevant skills.  Supplies the schools with university application forms and prospectus to help them with choosing their careers and how to fill forms while in high school.  Invite motivational speakers under ACTS banner that will give hope to learners.  Motivate learners on the importance of education with tertiary experience that we have at varsity.  Give hope to learners that education is the way to go.  Offer support to disadvantaged learners so that they are able to apply for bursaries on time.

Implementation  Visit nearby parishes  Visit school around your branch  Use social media to attract scholars  Use brochures and word of mouth

Possible implementation  Sunday and Saturdays  Once per quarter  When tertiary is closed

NB  When visiting churches and school communicate with people who are in charge there e.g. principals and parish priest and engage with your chaplains when putting down ideas.
