VACCUM SYSTEMS,GAS SUPPLY SYSTEMS HAVE A PREVENTIVE MAINTANENCE PROGRAMME AND ARE DAILY CHECKED FOR FUNCTIONING  ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS ARE DAILLY CHECKED FOR HAZARDS AND ALL CHECKS ARE DOCUMENTED  SAFETY COMMIITEE KEEPS A CHECK ON THE MAINTAINENCE AND BREAKDOWN OF THESE SYSTEMS  TRAINING OF STAFF AND ORIENTATION IS DONE

 ROUND THE CLOCK SAFE AND POTABLE WATER AND ELECTRICITY IS MADE AVAILABLE  GENERATOR STANDBY IS MAINTAINED  BACKUP WATER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE TO BE MADE  WATERR TESTING FOR POTABILITY  DAILY CHECK OF BACK UP SYSTEMS IS DONE

 DAILY CHECK OF BACK UP WATER,ELECTRICITY,OXYGEN,SUCTIONIS DONE  STAFF ISTRAINED AND ORIENTED

 A PREVENTIVE MAINTAINENCE PLAN IS IN PLACE FOR MEDICCAL GAS AND VACCUM SYSTEMS WHICH IS DOCUMENTED  BACK UP IS AVAILABLE

 FIRE SAFETY IS PLANNED ACCORDING TO FIRE OFFICER AND PLACEMENT OF ALL FIRE RELATED SPRINKLES EXINGUISHERS ETC IS PLANNED  ALL STAFF TO BE ORIENTED TO THE USE  FIRE EXIT PLANS SHD BE DISPLAYED  FIRE EXITS SIGNS  GLOW IN THE DARK SIGNS TO BE USED  MOCK DRILLS TO BE HELD AND DOCUMENTED

 STAFF IS TRAINED IN ALL SAFETY MEASURE OF THE HOSPITAL AND THE RISKS AT THEIR WORKPLACE AND HOW TO PREVENT THEM  PROPER PROTECTIVE GEAR IS PROVIDED  THEY ARE ORIENTED TO THE SAFETY PROGRAMME
