If you can do Distributive Property, you can multiply polynomials… Find each product. Example 1: 6x 2 (x 3 + 4) Example 2: 3cd 2 (4c 2 d – 6cd + 14cd 2 )

Example 3: (x + 4)(3 – 2x + x 2 ) Example 4: (3b – 2c)(3b 2 – bc – 2c 2 )

When multiplying two trinomials, use the “box method” Example 5: (x 2 – 4x + 1)(x 2 + 5x – 2) Example 6: (x 3 + 3x 2 + 1)(3x 2 + 6x – 2)
