1 st Level Consumer Deer: Cervidae Antelope: Antilocapra Americana

2 nd Level Consumer Bats: Chiroptera Snakes: Serpentes

Decomposer Fungi: Stachybotrys Chartarum Beetles: Cleoptera Decomposer: Scavenger Worms: Lumbricina

Other Animals in the Dahish Grassland Elephant: Elephantidae Bison: Bison Bison Rhinoceros: Rhinocerotidae Ferret: Mustela Putorius Furo Hyena: Hyaenidae

Predator/Prey The Lion preys on Zebras The Cheetah preys birds

Competition Snakes compete with hawks for field mice.

Mutualism Egrets and Rhinos are both benefitted by the egret feeding on its back. Birds get rid of the itching on their back or any parasites and they get food.

Commensalism The relationship between Killdeer and Cape Buffalo is commensalism because the Cape Buffalo protects the Killdeer but the buffalo doesn’t get anything in return.

Parasitism The relationship between tics and lions is considered parasitism because the tics eat from the lion and infect the lions and make them die.

Biome Facts Days Length: 12 Hours Year Length: 365 Days Temperature: 25 C° - 45 C° Landforms: Rolling plains, some mountains.
